In its passing, Sol drew so close to Zzoor that the Moon began to turn. It turned faster than any body can turn and remain one body, and it broke.

The pieces settled into the orbits they keep today. They are the six Moons of Jol: Cri, Essei, Earth, Gozym, Ulat and Ziga.

The Tosai did not survive the Breaking. No Tosai was found among the pieces. The years since are counted from this day: Sol Waning.
