On each Moon, in time, there were Cogum again. They came from the ashes of the Breaking, and each people carried its own memory of Zzoor.

These Cogum were not the Cogum of Zzoor. They were made from the Worlds, not from Jol, and they were incomplete. Jol’s light still reached them, but they could no longer see all of it. They could see pieces.

Every Moon’s oldest texts say the same thing in different words: we were once whole.
