Gozym (pronounced Go-zime) is covered in the Zyme: a plant that preys on every living thing. It grows very fast and gives off a thick slime that digests whatever it touches, carrying the nutrients back into the plant.

To sleep near the Zyme is to die. As it digests, it grows on what it digests, and a sleeper is covered too thickly to escape before they wake.

The Zyme takes thousands of forms, and not every plant on Gozym is Zyme. Nothing about a plant’s look says which it is. Only the Orum do.
