In time the Gozym organised their society around a single work: the destruction of the Zyme. They cut it down, burned it, and dried it out with sand.

The Zyme is joined underground by a network of spores, and it grows back quickly. The work has never been finished.

The Gozym do not appear to consider this a defeat.
