The Body You Attacked With Blocks
Everything readies at the start of every turn — both sides. So the body you attacked with is standing again on their turn, and it is the body you defend with. Work out the return trip before you commit.
The board plays at its own pace — the rival takes its turn where you can watch it. Advance the phase and end the turn from the rail on the board’s edge, exactly as you would in a real game.
